About Carspect

Carspect helps vehicle owners make sense of visible body damage before they walk into a repair facility.

Why Carspect exists

Repair costs are difficult to understand when you cannot yet see the operations behind a shop’s total. Carspect organizes likely affected parts, labor, paint, scans, and common allowances into a transparent preliminary range.

How the process works

A vision model reviews only the visible information in submitted photos. Its structured findings are validated and compared with your selections. A separate, versioned pricing engine then calculates the cost range. The AI does not choose the final price.

What Carspect is not

Carspect is not an insurance company, appraisal service, body shop, safety inspection, or repair authorization. Photos cannot expose hidden damage. A qualified repair facility must inspect the vehicle before repairs or safety decisions.

Our standards

We publish assumptions, use ranges rather than false precision, avoid unsupported accuracy claims, minimize personal-data collection, and correct material methodology or content errors when identified.
